Copyright & Takedown
Copyright permissions and a practical process for reporting disputed material. Last updated: 5 November 2026.
Ownership and permitted sharing
Newsut publishes original reporting, graphics and other editorial material alongside content used under permission, license or another lawful basis. Copyright and related rights remain with the applicable rights holders.
Readers are welcome to share links to Newsut articles. Sharing a link does not grant permission to copy a full article, remove image credits, use our logo as your own, or republish protected material. Brief quotations may be permitted where applicable law allows and the source is properly attributed.
Request permission
To ask about republishing an article, using an image or licensing other material, email news@newsut.store. Include the exact article or asset URL, the intended use, your organization if relevant, and where the material would appear.
Permission is not granted automatically by sending an enquiry. Materials that belong to third parties may require authorization from the original rights holder.
Report possible copyright infringement
If you believe material on newsut.store infringes rights that you own or are authorized to represent, send a notice to news@newsut.store. This is our contact point for copyright and takedown requests.
To help us locate and assess the concern, please include the information below.
- Your name, contact email and whether you are the rights holder or an authorized representative.
- The exact Newsut page URL and a clear description of the disputed text, image, video or other material.
- A description or link identifying the original work and an explanation of your ownership or authority.
- Why you believe the particular use is unauthorized, including relevant evidence if available.
- A statement that the information you supplied is accurate and that you are making the request in good faith.
How requests are reviewed
We aim to assess specific, credible notices in a reasonable manner. We may request further information, check attribution or licensing, and temporarily restrict, correct or remove content when appropriate. A notice does not by itself establish infringement or guarantee removal.
Where relevant, we may give the affected contributor or rights holder an opportunity to respond and may share the substance of the complaint as needed to investigate it. We will consider applicable law and the circumstances of the material.
Disputed removals and corrections
If your material was removed or you believe a complaint was made in error, contact news@newsut.store with the relevant URL, your relationship to the content and supporting information. We will review the explanation and may restore or correct material when appropriate.
Please do not send knowingly false claims or confidential personal documents that are not needed to assess the request. Copyright concerns may also involve rights or remedies beyond this website process.
Contact and updates
For permissions, attribution corrections and rights concerns, email news@newsut.store. We may update this procedure as the website, our licensing practices or applicable requirements change.
